These are one of the worst apartments I’ve lived in. They might look nice on the outside but it’s bad. Theres plumbing often so expect your water to be shut off a few times a month. There’s slab leaks all the time because the buildings are old. You can hear your neighbors stomping because of the thin walls. People are constantly moving out and roaches will go into your place. The spray they use doesn’t get rid of them. The appliances are broken and they don’t fix it. My apartment got flooded... because they took a long time to fix the leak and they had to remove the carpet which was just glued on top of the flooring that they showed us during our tour and we had asked for no carpet before moving in. Companies do that to make more money. The drawers are always breaking. And the electricity will be super high even if you’re never home. I’ve never had this many issues in an apartment and I’ve lived in many apartments before.

Don’t move in!
Renewed our lease because we thought we enjoyed living here. It was a sign when the original apartment (which was cheaper and wanted) wasn’t available due to issues. We settled for the more expensive one. • slab leaks (leaks everywhere around the apartments) • ceiling walls are thin (neighbors don’t care and management won’t do anything) • amenities aren’t nice (no one takes care of anything) • mold in shower and possibly in other parts in apartment (maintenance still hasn’t checked) • cheap... repairs (fire department came in and removed an alarm said apartments use it because it’s the cheapest alternative) • receptionist are rude (constant attitude) Once my lease is up we are leaving immediately!

Don’t move
My friend and I were searching for an apartment here had a huge problem with applying. It took the deposit I put in though my friend couldn’t apply. No one helped us, called in multiple times. Was said the manager would reach out never did

Don't move Here
We just recently moved in and now we are looking to break our lease. This place is infested with large roaches that you'll find late at night in your bedroom and kitchen Doesn't matter how clean you keep your house.
As soon as you move in management could care less about you. When any issues come up your never able to get ahold of anyone in office you cant leave a voicemail because its full 24/7 and even contacting the property management team at avenue 5 you'll never get a call back.
This... place is not a luxury apartment. It's a old complex that's overpriced and bad management

5 Stars to Ladies In Leasing Office
I have had absolutely nothing but a great experience here living at Hensley the girls in the front office Nicole and Brenda went above and beyond for me to help me with some rental assistance I got stuck in that rut with COVID-19 I was diagnosed with it hit me hard not only was I ill I was so stressed out about my bills.. They helped me get myself caught up. I loveMy apartment it is cozy it is home. I cannot thank Nicole and Brenda enough for being so patient with me when I was freaking out... about my rent they did not harass me they did not make me feel like I was a loser who couldn’t pay my bills in fact they were the opposite.. Nicole has always been a great help to me I won’t leave Hensley unless I win the lottery and I buy myself a my own home but even if that did happen I would really miss it here. I highly recommend living here and I tell everyone that I know who needs an apartment to come and talk to Nicole and Brenda. Great job ladies?? Lisa Macias
