I lived at the social for 8 months and I don’t have many good things to say about it. I lived in the East building which was not kept very clean at all. The central building is much nicer because that’s the one they show everyone. When I toured the social I thought it would be a really good experience but I just ended up being miserable here. Before I moved in I asked them if I could see my room and they said no because it was being cleaned but when I got my room it wasn’t clean at all and my... roommate said no one ever came to clean it. The dining hall staff are all pretty nice but the food is not that good at all.

It was definitely an experience. Overall, I’ve met some pretty great people and made some amazing memories. I would say don’t do randomized roommates, definitely get to know them first.

As a first experience abroad I like the social chico because it has lot of amenities, such as the pool and the gym. You can have the opportunity to meet a lot of people, also thanks to the play room they have! It’s also just 15 minutes walk from Chico State University

I think this dormitory provides a comfortable and reliable place to live. The staff are one of its strongest points. They are friendly, supportive, and always ready to help when students have questions or problems. For me, this creates a sense of safety and makes daily life easier.
