I just moved to California from Dallas and I am still taking in how beautiful it is out here. The hills, the weather, the drive up the 101, all of it feels like a completely different world compared to Texas. Moving across the country is stressful though, and I was nervous about signing a lease for a place I had never physically walked through. Calixa made that part a lot easier than I expected.

A big part of that was Shirin. She was communicating with me well before I ever set foot in the... building, answering questions and walking me through what to expect. It made the whole process so much less overwhelming from a thousand miles away. Every time I sent her a message she got back to me quickly, whether it was something about the lease, the move-in timeline, or just a random question I had.

On move-in day she gave me a tour of the community and showed me around the property, which was really helpful since I was brand new to the area and had no idea where anything was. She also made sure the apartment was cleaned and did an inspection before I got the keys, so I did not walk into any surprises. Everything was ready to go, and I could just start unpacking instead of chasing down fixes.

The property itself is beautiful. It is well kept, quiet, and the location in Camarillo is great for getting around. After a long drive from Texas, it felt good to walk into a place that already felt like home.

The amenities are fantastic, suits all age groups, the location is perfect, very close to 101 and an easy gateway to nearby hikes and activities. Amazing community, Calixa, is truly exceptional. The atmosphere is welcoming, the team is responsible, and there is a genuine sense of connection among residents. The community is well- maintained, offers great amenities that I have never seen before, and creates an environment where people feel valued and supported.
