Before signing our lease, I clearly shared that my deciding factor was having a quiet space because I’m an author and record meditation audios from home. I was strongly reassured that there would be no construction or major noise, and that assurance is why we chose to move forward with this apartment.
Within two weeks of moving in, a massive construction project began right outside of our unit and has now been ongoing for 5 months, 5 days a week. They will not give an end date. It is centered... around the pool, hot tub, and entire main common area, which was also a major reason we chose to live here and something we had specifically discussed prior to signing.
The noise is constant and makes it impossible to function or relax at home. I’ve been forced to rent an additional space to be able to work in the days.
When we reached out to management, I was told they believe they were allowed to provide that misinformation and they would not be offering any solutions to improve the situation.
Their payment system has failed and has ongoing glitches when I attempt to pay rent. I ended up being two days late on two occasions because it took days of trying to get their system to work, I tried contacting days before it was due, their office was closed, they wouldn’t accept cash, and it took a month for them to finally respond. A day after I paid rent and 5 days after they ignored my emails requesting how I can pay rent on time, they left a notice to evict due to a 3 day late payment on my door.
Despite all of this, they still charged me late fees.
I have asked for these fees to be removed, as the delay was caused entirely by their system but they refuse to correct it. Stating “once their system charges a tenant they are unable to ever refund that payment, even if it’s not the tenant’s fault.” Most responses I have received focus on threatening me that additional charges will be applied, rather than acknowledge my questions. I was told if I attempt to dispute the incorrect fees with my bank, they will charge me further fees for that as well.
I am left having to pay rent by mail because their system does not work and they will not assist me. They continue to state that they will charge me additional fees if the payment is late by mail or lost.
I rarely write reviews but this has been an ongoing nightmare I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to go through this nightmare. I would strongly caution anyone considering renting here, especially in the near future!

Getting Worse and Worse
The complex itself is an old foundation so we’ve had multiple leaks in the past (as well as many other residents here). Last time we had a leak they just tarped it and didn’t hear back for weeks until we went in and demanded it to be fixed because the water was bubbling through the walls. The contractor who came to fix it told us his company has come to this area 30 times and showed me lol. The roofs are flat so water can collect and cause leaks during rainy season. There’s been a ton of... residents with roofing issues.
This place has gone downhill since I’ve lived here. The complex is ran by a big corporation AIMCO so if you have any issues with anything don’t expect anything to get done. You can ask residents here yourself how the management is if you don’t want to take my word.
The commons areas are surrounded by dog poop because any people don’t want to pick up after their pet so just beware when you walk in the grass. The lid of the main garbage is usually closed and residents would rather throw the trash on the side instead of throwing it away the correct way. They don’t do enough maintenance around so there’s always branches, TONS of snails, and just debris all over the sidewalks and the walkways. If you live downstairs just know the floors are thing so it’s loud if you are below.
I will say the maintenance workers are awesome and definitely the best thing about this place. But other than that don’t expect them lookout for your best interests. After I post this they will give their same copy and paste reply as if they care just wait.

Someone spammed the reviews for the 5 stars
First just noting that the star rating here on apartmenfs.com is totally inaccurate, you can see the obvious spamming that took place everyday for months in 2017.
I gave 2 stars because there was potential here but ended in complete failure which I am not sure can recover. Personally I wouldn't live here again. Two stars is for location, the fact that it is an attractive and nicely set up property, the office team is friendly and so is maintenance. The amenities are decent, the apartment... set up is comfortable, but if on bottom you get some noise from the upstairs. Not a huge issue depending on the neighbor.
This leads into the problem area. The community did go downhill while I lived here with young families moving out and with new tenants moving in who are very clearly on drugs and have no issue breaking property and city rules openly and even maliciously. This includes smoking on the property, in the buildings, this includes tobacco as well as hard drugs, also having non permitted dogs, not only on the property but also unleashed, completely unconcerned about other tenants and young children with whom they have no issue arguing with about their own open violations which they feel entitled to engage in without concern for punishment. They need more security cameras on the property, and also should offer free parking for tenants. Cars are vandalized and broken into with frequency.
The main office out of state is a large corporation that handles the billing which is also very problematic. The onsite oversight isn't enough for how big the property is and how many problems end up occuring due to not enough oversight on property and and the corporate greed vibe that bought out the initial company. They seem to cut a lot of corners now with being incredibly cheap, seems understaffed, and they want to overcharge on everything, while treating tenants disrespectfully.
Not sure how well that will continue to work for their business model, but I definitely don't recommend moving here since the cons outweigh the pros. You might find yourself excited about how it appears outwardly but the issues are what you can't see that are really going to create a problem I'm the long run. Buyer beware.

Every resident must... sign a Good Neighbor Commitment that they will follow our policies and be courteous to others. We take this seriously and if residents are reported smoking or breaking policy our team will address it. We must be ADA compliant with an Emotional Support Animal or Service Animal. Paperwork must be submitted and approved even if it is a restricted breed. These dogs could be the restricted breeds you are seeing in the community. Way too much marijuana and creepy vibes that go with it
Kind of a bummer so so many people are smoking there, and it’s supposed to be smoke free. Way too much marijuana, and slowly declined from feeling kid friendly, safe, family oriented and fun, to a little scary, threatening, and misleading. It’s sad too because it’s a nice property, there are a lot of nice people there as well, the office staff is really nice, but the bad apples have really spoiled it.
