Impressive Property
I've lived here since it opened. The staff has always been very helpful and very nice. The amenities are great, I love to tan by the pool and use the community grills. The community that Union on 6th has is very respectable, always nice and chill. They have fostered an environment that is all about success and support.

Unreliable Management, many hidden fees.
Union on 6th appears nice and new upon initial inspection, but after a few months, the poor service and the sneaky fees start to become very irritating. The staff fails to provide correct information about your bill and each employee will tell you something different. The complex itself is built like an echoey chamber and has constant, unprovoked fire alarms that last for hours. The gym is below par and the pool area is constantly dirty. Doors are also not secure and homeless are often roaming... around the complex. Take your money to a better apartment.

Honestly worth the price if you can handle the cons
Pros: Literally built in 2021. All the appliances, furniture, facilities are new and nice. The apartments themselves are comfortable, large (I'm 6,4 and I had no problem with space or the bed), and clean. The view on the higher floors is amazing and refreshing. Truly a beautiful and active location as well. The cleaning team actually does a good job in keeping the lobbies and elevators relatively clean (cannot blame them for terrible tenants and their ill-trained pets). Maintenance people are... quick to respond and relatively friendly. The fitness room is honestly well-equipped, to the point that it is more convenient to work out in there than walk a mile to the Rec Center. Getting a room on the 7th floor is the best, but it is kind of a hassle to move groceries (but well worth the effort).
Cons: - NEVER lock bicycle in bike lockers. They will get stolen. Even U-locks will not help because thieves will straight up unbolt your entire bike. Apartment will not do anything to help you and their "cameras" are basically useless because even if they find the person, chances are you will never get you bike back. - Garage prices are ludicrously expensive. - Fire alarms here go off AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK. It is too frequent to the point that no one actually leaves the apartment when there is an alarm (so if there is a fire, people are 100% going to get hurt). I have been here 2 years and the frequency is going down, so maybe by the time you move, it will not be that much of an issue. - Because it is on 4th Ave, Thursday-Saturday is extremely noisy outside due to all the partying. - Lots of plumbing issues (is a new building, so they still trying to figure things out), and hot water gets cut off maybe every month or two for fixes (annoying if you have a morning class). - Ethernet does not exist (at least in my apartment). But internet is more than enough. - Again, the tenants are sometimes really annoying (most are undergrads). Rarely clean up after dogs, make too much noise, marijuana smell is insane some nights. But cleaning crew tends to clean up most problems by the end of the week at the latest.
