Loved living here until Bella Group purchased it. No access to the clubhouse on weekends (which we use to be able to use for parties, etc. The pool is closed more than its open due to poor maintenance. So basically we are paying for amenities not available much and for limited hours. Water is turned off frequently for various reasons and various lengths of time. Residents can no longer hang windchimes, lights or decorations. It now looks like a motel with the metal barriers put up on patios... and rid iron railings. It use to be a lovely community and now people are moving out after years of living there. Its a shame to see people moving out and nothing to even give it the impression that these are peoples homes I'm generous giving it 2 stars!!!

The additional mesh added to the railings was done to meet insurance compliance... requirements. Great place to live!
I lived in a 1 bedroom at Altamira for two years and loved it. The views are unbeatable and the location is private while being close to everything in town. Management is fantastic. Very responsive to any concerns and they view you as a member of the family. Pool is always in great condition and all grounds are well kept. If there is anything that needs replaced or fixed in the apartment the maintenance crew responds very quickly and are respectful and courteous. Good community with great... people! Highly recommend!

Amazing community, safe, well-managed
I lived here August 2019 – November 2020 and loved it. The community is welcoming, friendly, and amazing. The grounds are clean, quiet, and very safe. The apartment was spotless when I moved in. Mary, the manager, is exceptional – totally on top of it, responsive, and genuinely caring about the community members.

I love this place!
I've been living at Altamira Apartments for two years now and I have to say that I love it! The community is always clean and quiet. The office management team is very polite and professional. Whenever we've needed something serviced, the maintenance guy (who is awesome by the way) would come to fix it very promptly. This place centrally located from downtown Tucson and the Foothills with bike and hiking trails nearby. I like that it's on a hill so you can view all of Tucson. Plus, the view of... the Catalinas is incredible! Great place to live!!! I'd recommend it.
