Two weeks ago today I got the keys to my apartment. I love the space and the location, but it is not my space. I am living in a roach motel! I first saw a cockroach in the kitchen drawer the day we received the keys. As I was moving in, I saw smashed bugs in the corners of our kitchen cabinets. I see roaches in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, on the walls and doorframes, both daytime and nighttime. I advised the office of my concerns the week after I moved in and were told that an... exterminator would come the following Wednesday. I do not believe anyone came. On Thursday I attempted to have a conversation with the property manager and was summarily dismissed. I had an appointment yesterday to speak with the property manager, but she left early and did not bother to call or have the office staff call to advise me that she would need to postpone our meeting, and the assistant manager would not hear my concerns. I feel as though the property manager is avoiding me and is not interested in addressing my concerns. I drafted a letter regarding my concerns and my request for remedy as the Arizona Landlord Tenant Act requires, but the office won't even accept my letter and hasn't uploaded my lease to my portal so I can know where to send a certified letter. I no longer feel comfortable cooking or eating in my apartment. This is a systemic problem in our building that management knew about, but they have not taken steps to remedy. It is not clear to me why they would have rented me a unit that is not clean, safe, and free from active pest infestations - it is unsafe and inhabitable. I am now anxious all the time and having difficulty sleeping. I was so happy to move here, but after only two weeks I am disheartened. This is not a good way to start a long-term relationship. I am living in ROACH HELL!

My move in
AXA in the office was great. My air didn’t work when I first got there, but they were on it quickly and got it fixed. The dishwasher doesn’t work. It did for the first two runs to quit. It’s only been a day though so I’m just waiting on them to fix it otherwise I love the apartment love the neighbors love the complex and the office

Poor communication
I loved the style and layout of these aparments as well as how great the staff were at first. When i toured a couple of their available aparments i was in love and wanted to call this place my home however as things went on i was not as impressed. When i toured i let the office staff know about mine and my boyfreinds situation as we had to move to a different county in a short amount of time due to multiple reasons and they were very understanding and encouraged us to apply. However when we got... denied and i went looking for answers which were not given in the denial letter they sent us, i tried to call the office staff as i wanted to understand why. I called multiple times and got no clear answer on why we were denied and when i asked to speak to the lady that gave me the tours i was told she was not in the office that day and would give me a call back the next day. I never did receive a call back so after 2 days of not hearing anything i called back and they said she would give me a call by the end of the day, as u can tell i still have not received a call and have given up after 2 weeks without any answers. Im very disappointed as i loved these apartments and wished to have a home there. But since they clearly do not want the money or buisness i have given up and am looking elsewhere

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We truly appreciate your kind words about the apartment homes and your initial interactions with our team. It means a great deal to know that you felt welcomed and excited about the community. We’re very... sorry to hear that your experience did not meet those expectations as the process continued. We understand how important clear communication and timely follow up are, especially during what can already be a stressful transition, and it’s disappointing to hear that you did not receive the level of responsiveness you were hoping for. While application decisions are made based on standardized screening criteria, we recognize how frustrating it can feel when you don’t receive the clarity you were seeking afterward. Your feedback regarding communication and follow up will be shared with our team so we can continue improving the experience for future applicants. We genuinely appreciate the time and interest you invested in considering our community as your home, and we’re sorry that this experience left you feeling disappointed. We wish you and your boyfriend all the best in finding a home that fits your needs and timeline.

Love living here
I’ve really loved living here. From the first day I moved in, it just felt comfortable and welcoming. The grounds are always kept clean, and you can tell the staff genuinely care about the community. Anytime I’ve needed maintenance, they’ve responded quickly and fixed the issue without any hassle.
One of my favorite things is how peaceful it is. It’s quiet at night, and everyone I’ve met has been friendly and respectful. The amenities are a big bonus too — I actually use the gym and enjoy... having the pool during the warmer months.
It’s also super convenient being close to stores and restaurants, but still feeling tucked away from all the noise. Overall, I’m really happy with my decision to live here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-kept place to call home.

New move in to colter park
Our new apartment is nice however has lots of problems black smoke flows out of oven due to not being cleaned correctly, hole in our screen on sliding glass door, old bee hive and large hole on our patio not cleaned up or hole filled in so in the summer we can just expect bees and my wife is allergic to them. They replaced the thermostat to a updated one however did not bother to check the to see if it even worked which it didn't so they came and had to replace the motor from the ceiling I... mean come on this stuff should of been checked. Paint job is not good globs of paint and drips through out the apartment, missing a screen in daughters bed room so if she opens the window she could just fall out from the second floor , there's a hole in second bathroom from someone apparently opened door to far missing few door springs to prevent holes in walls, kitchen floor needs some glue have. Some flooring sticking up by the oven, there's small spot of dry blood on our wall in living room. Our balcony railing is loose just shakes around not real secure, our glass sliding door is hard to open and close and sounds like a tank when u close it needs new wheels, we did not get a sink stopper so can't due dishes in my kitchen our ceiling fan wobbles and makes screaming sound on high, who ever did the apartment final walk and or signed off on this being ready for a new move in probably needs to get some more training on apartments being move in ready.. also a side note they never answer there work phones so if u due need something u better walk in or show up in person cause they don't answer the phones ..
