I stayed at The Ridges in Bentonville for just over 2 years. I would rate my time there as 1/5 stars. The rent was initially low but increased significantly during my last several months. Thus, I can not recommend the apartments.

The apartment was filthy upon move-in. The carpet was so dusty I had to clean it 3 times before my feet were no longer covered in dust from walking in the carpeted rooms.

During my time there neighbors would routinely smoke outside my door and on the sidewalk (in... violation of the lease). Many tenants were extremely noisy and would often leave their doors open while playing loud music or yelling at each other.

Maintenance regularly had to be called out multiple times to fix an issue. For example, I kept my apartment very clean (no open food, regularly took out the trash, etc.). We still had several mice in the unit. When maintenance was informed, they provided glue traps and then offered no further support until the quarterly scheduled pest company was scheduled for a visit. I ended up purchasing my own traps and bait to deal with the problem rather than waiting several days for a resolution.

During the Winter months, no one treated the parking lot, sidewalks, or stairs for ice. They became extremely dangerous to walk on.

Upon move out, I ensured appliances, floors, rooms, closets, fan blades, shelves, etc. were all cleaned. Management still charged me more than the estimated amount in the lease. When I asked for clarity as to why I was charged more, I was told it was for "basic cleaning services". My apartment was in significantly better condition when I left, than when I moved in and I have photos indicating as such.

The lease also stated I was to walk the apartment with a representative as part of the move-out process. I tried calling the main office multiple times to schedule a walkthrough before leaving. I left multiple voicemails and my calls were not returned.

In summary, my stay there was a negative experience and I do not recommend The Ridges in Bentonville, AR. Read More
