I recently moved in, the pools closed. There's no playground. Even washing machines are all broken. There's the equivalent of a bike junkyard. It's infested with roaches and ants. No usb smart outlets. Holes in the walls. Mold. Broken appliances. Chipped up walls and ceilings. Dented doors and door jams. Rotted window sills. Broken windows tracks. None or holed screens. Filthy vents. No clean filters for the hvac. Broken and falling apart patio/balcony railing. Storage doesn't lock... , Front door lock is messed up and I can't use it. No keys for either back door. No mailbox key- can't get my mail. Leak stains on the ceiling. MY countertop isn't even connected. Half the outlets are broken. Exposed wires. Mislabeled electrical box. Hairy drains. Thus is the absolute worst place I have ever lived. And yes I have told the property management. Multiple times. They are worse than useless. I'm certain that all the praised reviews are complete b.s. and we're probably written by management.. do not sign a contract with these slumlords. Everything they say about this place is a lie. I didnt think Gulf Shores had a ghetto...i was wrong. Seriously filthy and gross.

Lovely resort location
This community is hands down one of the best locations for apartment living in the Gulf Shores area. It has been quietly peaceful and has a staff that truly cares about the residents. I love the park like feel with all of the trees and greenery.

Summer Trace Apartments - Beach Life!
If you WANT & NEED to be close to the beach THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE for an affordable, well kept complex right in the middle of everything! Walk to the BEACH, stores, great restaurants, bike and walking trails , out door activities. Awesome management, treat you like family, go beyond being helpful. Buildings and grounds are always clean and manicured, Wonderful pool area, workout and huge room/ kitchen for family gatherings, onsite laundry. A nice quiet retreat right in the... heart of everything.

Great location!
We love being right in the middle of Gulf Shores! Apartments are well maintained and any issues are addressed in a timely manner. It is quiet for the most part. I would feel comfortable recommending Summer Trace to anyone looking to rent in GS.
