Overall, these are truly fabulous apartments. The units themselves are well built with stainless steel appliances, well insulated walls (I've never heard my neighbors), and good quality flooring. Beyond that, the grounds at Grand Highlands are extremely well kept and beautiful, the pools have plenty of seating and lounging, and the people who live here are wonderful. But the best part about these apartments is the staff. Staff can make or break your apartment experience, and with Grand Highlands... they definitely go above and beyond. When I first moved in I had some issues (of my own making) and the staff worked with me to resolve them and ensure that I was happy with my unit. In the almost 3 months I've lived here I've only had one maintenance request (for the light bulb to be replaced in the light outside my unit) and it was fixed that day - very impressive, especially since that is not at all an urgent request and still the maintenance crews jumped on it immediately.
Overall, I cannot say enough positive things about this complex. The pricing is average for the space but a steal for the location, and that combined with clean/renovated units and absolutely wonderful staff make this a place I hope to call my home for the next few years while I'm saving for a house.
